October 17, 200619 yr Anyone a fan of SCI? They're one of the premiere bands in the jam band scene, they mix so many different genres of music and are simply excellent. Their current tour is wrapping up soon, with the last show being in Gainesville. If you're in Gainesville this Saturday (the 21st) they are playing for FREE on Flavet Field at 6pm. Since it's the last show of the tour, I've heard it's gonna be four hours long. Can't wait.
October 19, 200619 yr I fear these hippy jam bands. At least the plaza of the America's hippies have something better to do now than whatever it is they do.
October 20, 200619 yr Author I wouldn't write them off as just a hippie jam band, though there will be hippies in attendance. The quality of this band's musicianship is better than 99% of popular bands out there.
