Without further ado.....

 

1) Minnesota -3 vs. Iowa -- I hate betting on Minnesota because their gutless but they may be playing a team more gutless then them in Iowa. For some reason the Hawkeyes checked out this season a lot earlier then they should have. The Golden Gophers should throw the ball all over the field and win a tight one.

 

2) Miami/UVA Under 37 -- Love this line in a game where both teams feature mediocre offenses and very good defenses. UVA at home is a different team and Miami has been on the road for the 2nd straight week.

 

3) Western Michigan +16 @ FSU -- This is my most uneasy pick in that you never know how a team will react after a coordinator is let go. FSU hasn't exactly done much on either side of the ball and is coming off a shutout. You know they'll be pissed but it's Western Michigan with Florida next...possible look ahead??

 

4) Memphis 1H vs. Houston -- Houston's got nothing to play for...sure they don't want to lose but they may start slow against the Tigers.

 

5) Oklahoma State +6 @ Texas Tech -- This may be the popular upset pick so i'm cautious about this. OSU has lit up the scoreboard lately and has the defense to put pressure on Graham Harrell.

 

6) Arkansas -14.5 @ Mississippi State -- Simple...Win and their in the SEC title game which makes the line kinda weird...shouldn't it be bigger against a bad team??

 

7) Michigan ML -- Purely biased pick but one that has to be said.

 

8) Auburn/Bama Under 40 -- Typical SEC game with lots of defense and no offense....Did you see Auburn against Georgia?? I don't think their Defense will be that bad again but their O might.

 

9) Virginia Tech Pk @ Wake Forest -- Welcome to big boy football Demon Deacons...This is going to be an ugly game but their razzle dazzle won't work against the Hokies.

 

10) Southern Miss -14.5 vs. UAB -- UAB has been banged up and having a terrible season. Gotta like the Golden Eagles whose defense has been stout.

 

Check back for a Hawaii pick depending on how the day goes...kinda leanin to San Jose State +24.

Had tons of things to do this morning so I couldnt really review the card... I might stay away from the BIG games and go with some smaller games...

 

The only thing I have taken so far is Syracuse (PICK) over UConn

All i have to say for my real card is....

 

f*** Notre Dame and their kicker for missing that XP (had over 41.5 points for ND)

f*** Arkansas kicker for missing a chip shot (lost Ark -14.5)

f*** St. Louis' guy for missing a FT and giving up a cheap layup (lost SLU -13.5)

f*** UAB for getting a safety with no time left for the O/U push
