October 7, 200322 yr The pitching staffs are closer than people are talking about. Now I am a Cub fan saying this. What scares me is that the Cub offense, even against bad pitching, can make anyone look like Cy Young. Marlins have better contact hitters which means more base runners. That included with lots of walks by Zambrano might spell a loss for the Cubs. But I am rooting for the Cubs with all my heart. Should be a great series. Please excuse all my earlier post, was being an obnoxious. Go Cubs, good luck.
October 7, 200322 yr I noticed this today when I was looking at overall pitching stats. Yes you guys gave up less hits, struck out more, but we were right there behind you. We actually walked less and gave up the second fewest jacks in the league. Runs will definately be at a premium. If only AJ were here :confused
October 7, 200322 yr As a marlins fan im scared of Prior and the other awesome arms you guys got. If the marlins take this game, ill still be scarred, cause its just ONE game lol. Remember the giants won the first game in theNLDS we still won... I wish both teams the best of luck of course im a bit biased and hope my fish to ocme out on top, but worst case scenario we lose i hope we go down fighting! GO FISH!!!!
