You definitely have a reason to complain, then.

The thing about minimun wage is that in the past it has been very detrimental to economic growth simply b/c several small businesses are seriously hampered by the increases acorss the board. However, nowadays that isnt the case anymore. First most state were already at or near (if not higher) than the new federal minimum. Second, very few businesses were actually paying anyone 515 an hour, so the across the board raise wont really happen to the scale that it would have if u were raising an entire 2 dollars. So as a realist the minimum wage will only benefit the few people that actually need it for sustenance and it wont adversely affect the economy as a whole as much.

 

Granted this goes against my general inclinations of the role of government and the constitutional arguments still exist. But practicallly it isnt a bad idea.
