Holy Crap -- Shaun Livingston

An MRI exam has revealed that Shaun Livingston suffered tears in his left anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), medial collateral ligament (MCL) and lateral meniscus in Monday's awful injury, and also dislocated his patella and tibia-femoral joint. He is expected to need eight to twelve months to recover. The good news is that Livingston did not suffer damage to his circulatory or nervous systems. Simply put, the injury could be catastrophic to his basketball career, and we'd be pretty shocked to see him play at all next season.
