Posted October 13, 200321 yr I prefer Penny and Helling. Penny was knocked around in Game 2 vs San Francisco, and was nothing short of annihalated in the 2nd game vs the Chiacago Cubs. I'm not quite sure what would happen if we moved Helling to the rotation, but I have a feeling that it would be nothing good. This is definitely not the time to experiment with Helling, who was less than outstanding with the Baltimore Orioles this season. Dontrelle Willis might also be a good move if Rosenthal doesn't think he can get his mental game worked out, although that move surely wouldn't give him a boost of confidence. Overall, I feel that Penny/Helling makes room for the best possible rotation:Josh Beckett Carl Pavano Mark Redman Dontrelle Willis
