I think he is putting on a good enough show in AAA to warrant a call up considering what is going on at that position right now. I believe he is the future there anyway. Kid is loaded with potential. Fair enough. I think he would be in the majors if he played a bit better defense. It's not like the Cubs SS are lighting the world on fire tho. Markickass21 Posted July 7, 2007 Share Posted July 7, 2007 Theriot has heated up lately so the move might not be made right away, but eventually he has to come up I completely agree he is the future....... last year was not too great with the bat but hey he was only 23 years old and i believe that as the season went on his average went down...... even if they do have to endure more "growing pains" with him they still have so many big bats that it shouldnt make a significant difference.
