I could see Cabs hitting 3k hits and 500 HR's but not really seriously pursuing the overall HR record. He isn't a pure slugger, he is more of an all-around hitter.

 

And there is the only arguement you need. But I will add this part. Even if he were to stay here...Even if we get a new ball park...That new ball park is going to be pitcher friendly. That's what this team is built on, defense and pitching. That's what our minor league system is geared for. There is no way they are going to regear the whole system just to accomodate Miggy.

 

The Marlins won't build a stadium like the sandbox in Philly. It may be a pitcher's park, but it won't be anywhere as large as DS.
