Kidd Kidd, now the New Jersey Nets' star point guard, led Cal to national prominence during his two years at the school. The Golden Bears made the regional semifinals of the NCAA tournament during the Oakland native's freshman season, when he led the nation in steals. As a sophomore, he was named an All-American and the Pac-10's player of the year while leading the nation in assists. Kidd played for Dallas and Phoenix before leading the Nets to consecutive Eastern Conference championships. The five-time All-Star also won an Olympic gold medal in Atlanta in 2000.
