Patton is one my all-time favorite movies, and the best war film ever made in my opinion. Anytime I see it on TV, I make sure to watch at least the first hour or so (His opening speech, and the scene where he pulls over and talks about how he was once on that battlefield back during the days of the Roman Empire.)


That said, I agree with Fox. George C. Scott hands in probably one of the top 5 performances ever, but Daniel Day Lewis in My Left Foot is on a completely different level than anything I've been fortunate enough to watch.
