Gardner

Featured Replies

Thought I heard a comment on the radio on the way home last night that Lee was going to have an MRI done on his elbow today. Any confirmation on this? It would explain some things.

One way or another Gardner isn't going to have much more of a future with this team. His stuff isn't that impressive and while he had a good year last year, his ceiling just isn't very high.

From the Miami Herald:

Marlins' Gardner goes on disabled list

BY CLARK SPENCER

The Marlins have placed right-handed reliever Lee Gardner on the 15-day disabled list with elbow inflammation.

Taking Gardner's place on the roster is right-handed pitcher Doug Waechter, who was selected from Triple A Albuquerque.

The Marlins transferred right-handed pitcher Sergio Mitre to the 60-day disabled list.
