I was wondering if anyone knew, whats the chance the marlins AA team moves back to the eastern League?

Im just wondering because our local team..the CT defenders (aa giants) can leave after this season and most likely will. The giants org. arent fans of the this pitchers league and the on/off weather issues.

Last yr there was rumors that the marlins or brewers could be looking to relocated their aa clubs..so this could be a perfect fit here in CT.

 

Just looking for thoughts on this.

I would think for AA the Marlins would want to remain in the Southern League since it is closer to Miami. I could see them ending the affiliation with Carolina though. Rumors in Jax are the Dodgers want to end their Southern League affiliation since they have left Vero for Spring Training, they want all affiliates out West. If that is the case, I am hoping The Marlins affiliate becomes the Suns.
