June 25, 200818 yr I don't care if you're playing T-Ball in Parkland, homering five games in a row is a helluva accomplishment. His line this morning: .301/.412/.682/1.094 - 26 homeruns, 163 total bases. I think teammate John Gall's comment says it all: ?He's special in the entire game of baseball. There's only a handful of guys in the major leagues who can do what he does. To watch some of the balls he hits, I should pay admission like the rest of the people.? I don't know what comes of his performance this season, whether he winds up with the Fish or somewhere else, or stays where he is, but if you have a passion for baseball you have to appreciate what he's doing. This is a guy who is coming off spinal surgery, who hadn't played in a year and half. And it just isn't "it's just the PCL..." because being in the American South division, Albuquerque plays most of their away games against the likes of New Orleans, Memphis, Tenn., Iowa, etc. The American North and South divisions are much more like the International League than the rest of the PCL.
