June 28, 200818 yr hey MB.com guys, as you know I have been gone for about a couple months. My sister that I had to take care of is doing better, so I have free time again. It delayed my move down to the miami area, but only by a little. I will be down and moved in between August - September. Got my fingers crossed, million dollar view for cheap. What brings you down here to South Florida? To make a very long story short, I was attending UMiami in the summer/fall for my MBA. It was between 3 schools, and UM was the best one available, but then my sister had her problems and I had to take care of her. This took away from my time table and a bit of money I had saved so I was not able to apply for FASFA or any academic loans in enough time. I finally helped my sister get back on her feet and at least somewhere else, during that time I was searching for jobs, I found a job with BGT Partners in Aventura. The good thing and why i took the job is they have a collaboration with a school to offer me a free MBA while I work for the company. I just have to commit to three years with the company to receive this. The school is not the greatest, but it gets me my MBA, gets me three years of midlevel experience so I can not really complain. The school is Nova Southeastern, anyway-thats the story in a nutshell pretty much. I am just excited to come down and see what it is like. The furthest south I have lived is Maryland, so I have never had a lot of real heat so that is my only fear right now. Cool! I'll be your Pembroke Pines neighbor. Stop by & say, "Hi!" sometime. I am going to try to make a lot of connections since I will be coming down by myself so I may be taking people up on their offers
