July 5, 200818 yr His rotundness, Mark Wiley, seems to love his ring. Guess he figures he better start bucking for his job rescouting for the Rockies now any way he can with his firing that SHOULD come in the near future. "Marlins pitching coach Mark Wiley, a special assistant with the Rockies last year, received his 2007 NL championship ring Thursday from Rockies General Manager Dan O'Dowd. "They didn't want to send it to me. They wanted to give it to me. I thought that was classy," Wiley said. Wiley has a World Series ring from the 1983 Orioles and two league championship rings from the Indians (1995 and 1997). "This is my fourth one and it's the nicest," he said." http://www.palmbeachpost.com/marlins/conte...notes_0705.html
July 5, 200818 yr Why do they even make NL Champion Rings anyway? It's like...ok we lost the world series, but hey, we'll make rings anyway.
