September 24, 200818 yr if it is a 269-269 time and the votes come down to the united vote I think McCain will win. He will pretty much get every state he carried in this scenario. Which would put him around 30 or 29 to Obamas 20 or 24. I did not read the whole article, but chiming in.
September 24, 200818 yr It's about getting a majority of the congressional delegation for each state, so if the Democrats have a majority in more states then it will be up to Democrats to decide who wins. I'm not sure how this would break. Probably would break for the guy that wins the popular vote.
