AZ Fall League 10/18

Made the trip out to Mesa yesterday to see the Solar Sox defeat the Saguaros 3-1 ..... was a nice and cool 95 degree day, at least there was some shade to be found which made it a bit more bearable

Raynor lead off playing RF and Cousins batted 5th as the DH - no other marlins got into the game and the pitchers didn't even look to be in the pen

wasn't able to tell too much about them (like my amatuer eye can tell a whole lot in 1 AZFL appearance anyway...........) - both went 0-4 and cousins reached on what appeared to be an error on a DP ball he hit, he ended up scoring on a 3 run inside the park HR

raynor didn't see any action in RF as tommy hanson was owning people again - this guys looks to be a real nice prospect for the braves - about all I could tell from him is that he ran hard and fairly fast trying to beat out groundballs

here is some visual evidence from a nice day at the ballpark

Cousins at bat and then a talk with a cub
