June 5, 200917 yr 1. Has there ever been a game that was canceled all together due to a fight 2. How many innings or hours would a baseball game go on before they apply the mercy rule (both teams tied in score) 3. What was the longest Homerun ever hit (and who hit it) This is not a triva, just some questions that iv always thought about.

Riots though, that's happened. 2) Never, this is baseball. 3) Hehehe, interesting one. Officially, it's Mickey Mantel, 634 ft in 1960. It was later found out that the distance wasn't where the ball landed, but where the ball ended up after bouncing around and rolling. Here, this article, http://www.baseball-almanac.com/feats/art_hr.shtml, can do it better justice than me.
June 5, 200917 yr Bottom of the 9th, tied game, runners on first and third or bases loaded, one out. Most managers bring the IF in even if the batter is a slow fat guy. Makes no sense. They should play for the DP.

They should play for the DP. I remember that during the series vs the Rays, DVH brought that up. He argued that bringing the infield in actually adds .100 to .150 points to someone's batting average, claimed to have seen some statistics to that point.
June 5, 200917 yr Has a player ever played in the Little League, College, and MLB World Series? yes, did Varitek or Sheffield ever do that, because I know both of them were in the LLWS
June 5, 200917 yr Has a player ever played in the Little League, College, and MLB World Series? Funnily enough, that's a Marlins related question! Ed Vosberg was the first, playing in the 1973 LLWS for Tucson, AZ, the CWS in 1980 for University of Arizona in the CWS, and for the Florida Marlins in the WS. Jason Varitek was the second and both lost of them lost in the LLWS and won in the CWS and WS.
