He made his first start for Jupiter today in Fort Myers (where I used to live).

 

July 11th start: 5 innings, 5 hits, 1 walk, 5 strikeouts, 1 HR against, 2 earned runs.

 

We'll use this thread to track his progress for the season as... why the f*** not?

July 17th start: 5 innings, 6 hits, 2 walks, 4 strikeouts, 1 HR against, 2 earned runs.

 

July 22nd start: 6 innings, 0 hits, 2 walks, 3 strikeouts, 0 earned runs.

 

 

2-0, 1.69 ERA, 5 walks, 12 strikeouots in 16 innings.

2-1, 2.25 ERA, 6 walks, 19 strikeouts in 20 innings.

 

 

He's now the Marlins #11 prospect according to MLB.com's updated prospects. Yelich and Marisnick are still on that list (#1 and #2) as well.
