MIAMI ? Dwyane Wade not only will be a spectator for the start of the Heat's trip that begins Friday in Milwaukee, the rookie guard could remain out of uniform for all six games.

Required by injured-list rules to miss five games, Wade is eligible to return from the bone bruise on his right wrist a week from today in Sacramento. The trip then continues with games against the Jazz, Clippers and Nuggets.

But coach Stan Van Gundy said before Monday's game against Indiana that it is possible Wade would not return to the lineup until a Jan. 20 home date against Boston.

"When you're told a minimum of two weeks, you're usually not going to get a guy back in half that time," Van Gundy said. "So we pretty much planned that he would probably be out for these games and, unfortunately, probably the entire West Coast road trip.

"Hopefully we get him back sometime on that trip, but the probability is we won't

This sucks ass so bad.

We need his energy, defense, and points.

Especially with this big road trip coming up.

IN THE WEST!!

I hope Skip can step up.
