i'm not opposed to this idea at all, but i'm quite perplexed by bush's proven eagerness to spend money and cut taxes at the same time. it just don't make sense to me. :confused

this is rather long term as well, but the great ratings for the new mars thing means that America wants this. Space travels saves us billions every years because it improves technologies in leaps and bounds. This can be a move to improve the republican party's image. 1 or 2 points is still very powerful, especially when you won the last election by -500,000 votes.
