Furman lost

Featured Replies

we lost to UT-C tonite. I was at the game. We lost by about 7 (b/c of fouls and such at the end). It was a decently played game by Furman. One of our best players, Quan Prowell was out with an injury for the 2nd straight game, so we had to go kinda deep into the bench (Ben Earl got some PT).

Anyway, UT-C is good....they made it to the SoCon tourney final last year, before losing to ETSU (who went on to give Wake Forest a scare in the Big Dance).

I dont remember who we have next, but we are a paltry 2-5 in SoCon play. It's alright though. We have the talent to make a run late in the season, where it counts most.

Playing in a basketball conference like the SoCon, it doesn't matter how you play during the season, but how you play come tourney time. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we can beat any team in our conference, so I'm not too worried. It just sucks to see us lose.
