MIAMI -- The Marlins are offering not one but two select-a-seat chances at Pro Player Stadium for fans to purchase season tickets.

Select-a-seat dates are set for Saturday, Jan. 31, and on Saturday, Feb. 7, which also is FanFest at the stadium.

Select-a-seat is a special opportunity for fans to visit Pro Player Stadium and firsthand choose their desired seats. Upon entering the stadium on Saturday, fans should visit section 149-150 on the 100 level.

On Jan. 31, the stadium will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A week later, Feb. 7, FanFest is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"By not raising season ticket prices, we have packages for everybody and they are affordable," Marlins president David Samson said.

The Marlins offer a variety of season-ticket deals, including full, 41-game plan, 20-game plan, and a flex plan.

The Marlins are entering their 12th season. In their relatively brief history, they have won two championships (2003 and 1997).
