February 13, 200422 yr I live in Cape Coral about 45 minutes south of Sarasota. It would take you about 3 hours and 15 minutes to drive to PPS on I-75 and the Turnpike. It takes me 2 hours and 25 minutes, but Sarasota has more traffic than Fort Myers/Naples does. You are 45 minutes away from Tropicana Field where the Devil Rays are.
February 13, 200422 yr Here are the directions from FloridaMarlins.com for those not familiar with South Florida. I usually cut through Pembroke Pines and Miramar, but with the congestion there, I might as well use 27 and get on the Turnpike. From the West... I-75 to eastbound I-595. Continue east to the Florida Turnpike interchange. Take the turnpike south to Exit 2X, which is the NW 199th and stadium exit. Upon exiting the turnpike, the stadium is immediately on the right. Disabled entrance at Gate 4.

February 14, 200422 yr About three hours... I went to a trip to Sarasota here down in miami and it took me 4 hours and a half going 75 MPH. Its a long trip.
February 14, 200422 yr I used to work for a trucking company, so I had to learn all the florida mileage. Now if you were coming from Tampa ot would be 270 miles.
February 14, 200422 yr I would go see the devil rays and I will when the marlins play them. I live in tampa. Last season I drove to Atlanta to watch the fish play. I normally go to miami for 4 games a year.
