Nobody hates Pudge...and yes I am grateful for his contributions. What I don't like is the greed he portrayed. The Marlins gave him a very fair offer, given the market conditions.....and he snubbed his nose at it.....and in not a very graceful way. That is where I have my problem. But if he comes back at the right price...then all sins are forgiven. Thanks PB for being so considerate, but everyone seems to forget that because of him hitting that last inning, the Marlins would have never gone to the World Series. He is a goodball player, and he really loves the game, and if he gets paid for it, well, he is a 10 time Gold Glove winner, he really knows what he is doing, he has the experience and he knows how to read the pitchers and the players. If he comes back, I hope they make him an offer, really good one. The team needs him. Redmond is good, Castro, has been playing here in PR, and really not that good, and if he gets out the legal jam he is into, then maybe he can concentrate better and play, but until then, we can only wait and see. So, if the real " Marlin Fans" hates him, son todos unos malagradecidos...

:banghead I can't understand how pudge is not back. He kept his end of his deal, helping the Marlins become the Champions. He did. I think he is worth the $40 m. for the 4 years. maybe if the Marlins would have offered 30 million for3 years. He is the best catcher there is. Detroit, well its not a good ballclub, but they are willing to pay to get back in the game. the Marlins were in the same situation last year, if it wouldnt have been for Jack nor Pudge and the rest that are not there, they would not have been Champions. Even Jack said in an interview, it is going to be hard this year. He knows. He is not blind. He has to start all over again. If the Marlins don't bring Pudge back I don't think it will. And I really hope that with being such a cheapsakes, a new curse will arise. For not keeping Pudge.
