So I thought it was a current enough version! 8.0, 9.0......who the hell gives a f***!!!! close enough I thought! And if your sa damned smart!!!, why didn't ya suggest that to me in the 1st place!!!! Well, I discovered one thing on my own, maybe it will help others from the same problem...My Windows XP professional came with Media Player 8.0 and apparently upgrading to the new WMP 9 solved some of my problems with music from Wal-Mart!!!

No, I don't think I'm given a code? but I'm not certain? It seemed to be a pretty good thing at first. 88 cents, you get the song you want, and you don't have to download it right away...it stays in your "purchased music" account. But it asks you to play the song once through Windows Media Player, and it acquires a license... So I don't know if these license are stored in some other folder, or they're attatched to the song file itself, that I put in "My Music" folder. Because you're supposed to be able to back these licenses up to a floppy disk, or restore them from the internet. Under Tools in WMP and go to "license management" But it wont let me!! And the only choice you have is WMP website Newsgroups were you can ask other people what to do, but nothing like this message board? And basically it's ONE guy that helps everyone...And all he does is tell you to contact Product support which is $35 !!!!!! for anything concerning DRM Which DRM he said stands for Digital Rights Management I think?! If anyone can else has any experience with this stuff I'd appeciate your help or comments. Thanks!

This is such bullcrap!! can u believe this?? I purchased some songs at Wal-Mart.com for 88 cents. You're allowed to make 10 copies to a cd... But you have to acquire a license for the song by playing it once through WMP. But this must be a scam, because some of my licenses have been lost, and some songs say "you have 2 copies remaining" when I haven't even burned it to a cd once yet!!! Is anyone familiar with this sort of problem?? Thanx

Does anyone know a lot about downloading music? 'Cause i don't? Would anyone know why you can't adjust the spaces in between tracks, in WMPlayer? The seconds between songs? Thanks
