Wayne is going to be a solid big-league pitcher for years to come.
Those expecting lots of Ks will be disappointed. He's a control pitcher and can throw four pitches for strikes. Marlins fans should be extremely happy to have the best young pitching in baseball. We talk about Beckett/Willis/Pavano/Penny/Burnett...but don't forget about guys like Wayne.

Yes, he was, although I can't see why. Wayne was drafted #5 overall in 2001 by Loria's Montreal Expos. Loria paid Wayne a $3 million signing bonus out of Stanford. Loria was instrumental in getting Wayne to the Marlins in the Cliff Floyd deal a couple of years ago.
