Yea, his ERA will go back up when he faces a team that has an offense.

How can a team struggle this bad on a game to game basis just to get a basehit? This is becoming beyond pathetic. We went 10 innings against StL w/o a hit and now can't even hit off of Obermeuller. We don't belong in the playoffs.

We come into a game against a guy with an ERA above 7 and can't even get any hits.

Why doesn't Jack give him some time in RF and give Enc some time off? Enc has not been hitting well since he got here so it's not like this will hurt our offense, Aguila can play all the OF positions so why not give him some ABs to see what he can do.

This team is not going anywhere this year. Our offense is still real bad even with the addition of Lo Duca. You can't have a line-up with 2 guys hitting in the .230's plus the pitchers slot, then add in Lowell who couldn't get a hit in a little league game right now. With 4/9 of the line-up not producing or even having productive AB's we are not going to win. Finishing above .500 might not even be possible.

With us being 5.5 GB already and 4 teams in front of us the chances of all of them to fade are not very good. Especially when we can't get a decent winning streak started. Are last 18 games should have given us a chance to gain ground but our record was 7-11 against Pit, Mon, Phi, Ari, & Milw. Our next 15 games will decide the rest of our season: we play 3 against Stl, LA, SD, and SF.

With some of these trades it could give some younger guys a chance to get some games under their belt. Benitez---replaced by Mota Pavano---Hutchinson as a starter/give Wayne or Bump a chance to start and put Messenger in the pen Easley---replaced by Josh Wilson Cordero---Willingham redmond---Ryan Jorgenson

At what point should beinfest start looking to trade some of our potential FA's for some prospects or younger players? I don't want to seem to negative but we are not gaining any ground on anyone(division or wildcard). We should get some decent people for some of our guys: Benitez Pavano Redmond Seanez Cordero Easley
