  1. I don't think Miami is even a good football town. Sure, the Dolphins supposedly sell-out their games (just like there are supposedly 10,000 people at the baseball game in that photo), but ever notice how many empty seat there are when you watch the Dolphins games on TV? Tons. A friend of mine is a big Dolphins fan and he never buys a ticket ahead of time and always ends up getting a club seat for less than $25. People can't give those Dolphins tickets away. Miami is just not a big sports town the way some other cities are. Probably never will be.
  2. I'm interested in going to FanFest tommorrow, but what exactly is there to do there if you don't have a VIP pass? I don't think I really want to stand in line for autographs, so aside from that, what can you do there? And where are most of the activities located? You do get to go and walk around the field, etc.? Thanks.
  3. Given that NFL cheerleaders get about $50 per game: (Source: LINK), I doubt that the Marlins Mermaids get much more. I imagine they do it for fun more than anything else. I like the Mermaids. The only part I hate is that stupid "everybody doin' the fish" song/cheer that they play at every game. However, I'm sure the Mermaids didn't invent it and hate it just as much as I do.
