paradox

i'm surprised we're stealing so much on a left-hander...

so much for that 10% chance of rain...

damn, too bad gonzalez couldn't come through..

well this was the quietest thread ever...

it's too bad the phillies came back...i thought today was the day we'd get into 1st place in the wild card outright..

Pierre is batting near .400 when putting down the bunt. Yes, but that only works when it's a surprise. It's probably more like .750 when nobody's expecting it, and something like .150 after trying it 3 times in a row...

pierre's maybe overdoing it a little bit with the bunting..

phillies win

ha sexson grounds into his 3rd DP in a row

phillies up 8-5 in the 10th, scored 6 runs in a row :/

what's redmond doing hitting 3rd anyway? makes no sense.

willis's error puts a man on third with 1 out..but he gets out of it!

he was 4-8 with 9 RBI's with the bases loaded before that atbat but he's also gidp'd 2-3 times..

Cabs grounds into a double play he sure does that a lot in these situations...

3-2 marlins, 1 out in the top of the 3rd, bases loaded...

no paradox he has hit cleanup this season eh. im not disputing that. i'm laughing at the odd decision. why bat renteria cleanup when you've got pujols, edmonds, and rolen?

dont they have renteria batting clean up? tino is hitting cleanup. renteria cleanup? ha.

damn, edmonds is back after a 9-game layoff. hope he's rusty...

dude, with a fly ball we could've gotten within a run. because of that call, we got nothing. to much risk involved so what? that just means we lose 3-2. our best chance was to have castillo steal, then have pudge single them in. besides he's used this strategy many times this year, nobody's complained before.

Why would you steal there, I don't get that call at all. we needed 2 runs...that was our best chance.

this is probably our best chance...hard to score if they go lidge-dotel-wagner

game over! nice quick inning by looper

looper time!

i was surprised jack didn't have mordecai pinch run for him as usual...

lots of errors today..
