Mitre pitched his way into and out of a tough spot there.

Did anyone else find that suprising? Willingham moved up to 12th in the National league in Walks with his first AB with 28. That's solid.

Marlins interested in Borchard
I find it amazing that we share the lead for the lowest CF BA at .154. It is amazing enough that one team has that low a BA in CF, but the fact that two teams share the BA is mind-blowing. :hat

yay wind! According to gameday it is a 20 mph wind coming in from center field. ...probably not the best day to play long-ball.

Real smart considering Olivo is hitting .200 and was 0-4 last game and Willingham had two homers in one game and is hitting .333. Shouldn't you be comparing Olivo's stats to Aguila and/or Reed not Willingham's??? :mischief2 Willingham is the catcher of the future and needs to get some starts behind the plate. It doesn't matter what Olivo's or Aguila's stats are.

O's at Marlins
new Marlin Wellemeyer into the game replaces Mitre...lets see what the kid has to offer out of the inning giving up only a walk Wellemeyer was pinch-hit for in the bottom of the inning, bringing his inaugural performance to a close. Good showing.
