  1. Three up three down for the Marlins. Middle of the 3rd inning, 3-0 Marlins.
  2. Mitre pitched his way into and out of a tough spot there.
  3. Did anyone else find that suprising? Willingham moved up to 12th in the National league in Walks with his first AB with 28. That's solid.
  4. There's 3! Now let's get 37 more... Is that all? Where's your ambition?!
  5. Three up, three down for the Cubbies in the bottom of the 1st. 2-0 Marlins!
  6. Elsewhere in the division... Braves won a day game over the Brewers 9-3 But... :cool Mets are losing to the Giants in the 4th 3-0 Nats are losing to the Dodgers in the 5ht 2-0 Phillies are losing to the Diamondbacks in the 6th 1-0
  7. I was just getting ready to post that Lilly is throwing all strikes and what does he do with the next batter? He walks Willingham. :confused
  8. And Reggie leads off the game with a three pitch strike out... :confused

I find it amazing that we share the lead for the lowest CF BA at .154. It is amazing enough that one team has that low a BA in CF, but the fact that two teams share the BA is mind-blowing. :hat
  10. Hmmm, an intentional walk to pitch to... Piazza. I hope this doesn't backfire. :pray
  11. yay wind! According to gameday it is a 20 mph wind coming in from center field. ...probably not the best day to play long-ball.
  12. We have got to make teams pay for walking Cab's.
  13. 3 up, 3 down for the Pad's!
  14. Real smart considering Olivo is hitting .200 and was 0-4 last game and Willingham had two homers in one game and is hitting .333. Shouldn't you be comparing Olivo's stats to Aguila and/or Reed not Willingham's??? :mischief2 Willingham is the catcher of the future and needs to get some starts behind the plate. It doesn't matter what Olivo's or Aguila's stats are.
  15. new Marlin Wellemeyer into the game replaces Mitre...lets see what the kid has to offer out of the inning giving up only a walk Wellemeyer was pinch-hit for in the bottom of the inning, bringing his inaugural performance to a close. Good showing.
