Spring Training Pics - Jupiter (2/26/10)
Nice! About how many people were watching with you? Gotta say somewhere around 100...but thats my guess. Alot, of them went over to the Cardinals side by mid-morning to watch Pujols, Holliday and McGwire.

Spring Training Pics - Jupiter (2/26/10)
Hi all!! Wanted to share my pics from Jupiter today. The weather was nice, not to many people, and the players in high spirits. Got autographs from Ramirez (albeit a "hassle" with him), Uggla, Ross, Sanchez, Maybin, West, Miller, Cantu, Baker, and Coughlan. Enjoy!! http://lh4.ggpht.com/_8ia3xv6VjwU/S4hyxIdz6xI/AAAAAAAAAZM/eWf9p82oPzg/s512/DSCF7038.JPG http://lh3.ggpht.com/_8ia3xv6VjwU/S4hyxetxE0I/AAAAAAAAAZQ/n9NfCFEKV8U/s640/DSCF7056.JPG

The old All Teal Marlins hat
Since he re-opened just for me, I didn't want to walk around too much. I did see alot of Yankees and Cardinals stuff, so I assume there is marlins stuff. They seem to be BIG marlins fans. There were tons of clothes and a couple of nice MLB sweatshirts. But thats just looking from the hat section across the store. Alot of dickies stuff too I think. Thanks for the info. Since I work on the road, I will pass by and check it out and let you know what I see.

The old All Teal Marlins hat
Okay, to sum up----it was a PITA to get there, I had no idea where to go because Mapquest and my GPS suck. Got there---30 mins after closing...grr. A Guy who was still there was nice enough to open up for me. I got a 7 1/4 black and teal cap for $10 unfortunaltly. The all teal was 5.00 but they only had 6 5/8. About twenty 7 1/4 hats in black and teal. About two 7 1/8 hats in black and teal. ONE 7 5/8 hats in black and teal. $10 each. Liked em though. These are the old hats from 1994 so they shrink usually after sweating in them. So always try to get it one size bigger. Did they re-stock on shirts, jerseys etc???

I hate Loria
IMO the location is sh*t for Marlin Stadium they're going to average less fans then they do now its in the middle of the ghetto and to far for anyone to drive to If Loria had half a brain he would have put the stadium next to the hockey arena in sunrise and created a whole sports complex with shared parking and it would be more centrally located and it would create more revenue for the sawgrass mills mall but the people behind the deal are F ing idiots I laugh at those that continue to deliberate the location of the stadium. I live within five minutes of Dolphin Stadium and usually attend games in the spur of the moment. The O.B. site will now be farther away from me, but you know what; my team has a HOME!! I am guaranteed that baseball will exist here for the next 40+ years. I true fan will enjoy baseball in any location within reasonable driving distance and Little Havana is not that bad compared many other neighborhoods.

A Very SoFlaFish Spring
Nice pics! As always, it's nice seeing your son enjoying himself. I was planning on going today but the "wife" had other plans for me (like spending 3 hours inside an IKEA). Probably head up to Jupiter Friday or Monday. Also, I wanted to say hello to everyone as this is my first post here. Been a long time visitor to the site but just been a little "internet" shy over the years. Welcome to the site :thumbup Don't worry, we don't bite Thanks for the warm welcome!! I am planning on going up tommorow and try to post some pics!!
