  1. Mike Lowell should have spent the evening after the games picking splinters out of his ass instead of contemplating yet another 0 for 4 night with at least 2 runners left stranded on base... For that, I blame Jack McKeon. I understand sticking with Lowell for the first half, because he was probably waiting around for Mike to play his usual half a season. But when you have a very capable third baseman in Miguel Cabrera, and a very solid left fielder and hitter in Jeff Conine- why stick with a guy who kills rally after rally after rally after rally after rally after rally after rally after rally and just looks TERRIBLE at the plate??? It made no sense to me... You could hear a collective "sigh" as Mike Lowell dragged himself to the plate with runners on base. People would use his at bats to get up and go to the bathroom, go get ice cream, read all the ugly Miccosoukee Casino ads all over the outfield wall, or just look through a pair of bernoculars and watch the Mermaids act like stupid slutty bimbos. Not that I have anything against the stupid bimbos or sluts of the world.
  2. It's funny to read the things people write about Mike Lowell... But when the comedy fades to reality, it really makes me feel like screaming... Lowell has always been a half-season performer. For the past year and a half, however, he has been absolute dogshit. And his hangdog attitude looked contagious as hell all season.. When I watched the telecasts and saw him up there in the batter's box with that beaten puppy expression on his stupid face- I felt like hitting a weak flyball myself. I don't see any reason to believe that this isn't the hitter he will continue to be for what will hopefully be a brief career. He didn't beat cancer- he became a cancer!!!!
