October 11, 200520 yr I'm sticking with my blind allegience to a .200 hitter with no power. It's just plain stupid to try to improve the only part of the team that has consistently failed the entire season; we don't need offense. No one does. Let's not expect players to do their jobs and face consequences if they don't. Hey, if it was me out there, I'd LOVE to get 8 million dollars a year to not do what I get paid to do. I think for now on, when I go to work, I'll just bring my sleeping bag with me, nap for 8 hours, then pick up my paycheck at the end of the day. October 12, 200520 yr It's funny to read the things people write about Mike Lowell... But when the comedy fades to reality, it really makes me feel like screaming... Lowell has always been a half-season performer. For the past year and a half, however, he has been absolute dogshit. And his hangdog attitude looked contagious as hell all season.. When I watched the telecasts and saw him up there in the batter's box with that beaten puppy expression on his stupid face- I felt like hitting a weak flyball myself. I don't see any reason to believe that this isn't the hitter he will continue to be for what will hopefully be a brief career. He didn't beat cancer- he became a cancer!!!!
