makaveli i believe was an Italian man, i forget from what time period, that came up with some philosophies about power and survival. my professor suggested we read his literature but i never got around to it. i believe he faked his death once... coincidence? Makaveli was a dictator but a very wise man, he wrote The Prince and had several philosophical concepts that are very solidified. He rationalized the end justifying the means, which I do believe is the case very often. dude i dont think he ever made it to a dictatorship, from what i hear he was a military leadee andhe had all these ideas but was still a failure in life and died penniless and was in prison for a while. but im not sure sounds like a wonderful role model...
