October 14, 200322 yr anybody doing anything for halloween? i am looking at costumes and such... i get to dress up that day for work. its my fav holiday. i was trying to think of something interesting to dress up as...
October 14, 200322 yr in high school i would dress up. it was fun. one year i was a brother. another year i was a female. another year i forgot to dress up and my shirt became ripped throughout the day so i was the man with a ripped shirt/bum. (but damn, shirts were expensive back then) and then i forget my other costume.
October 14, 200322 yr Author one year i was a brother. we had cross dress day at school once (lol dont even ask) and one of the Brothers dressed as a nun hahahahhaah. i dont know if thats the type of brother you were talking about but its one of my favorite memories in high school
October 14, 200322 yr Author wow your memory is amazing to recall what you wore in HS 70+ years ago... they had halloween back then? :lol

October 14, 200322 yr wow your memory is amazing to recall what you wore in HS 70+ years ago... high school brings back great memories. and yes halloween did exist back then, just not as commercialized. or perhaps i am confusing halloween with homecoming activities, the actual dates blur occassionally but not the events occuring.
October 14, 200322 yr one year i dressed up as my fat little buddy, but he didnt appreciate it too much, which was a bit sad, especially when he suspended my pay for a week.
October 14, 200322 yr didnt they burn people at the stake back then? no that ended about half a century or so before me..... granted the KKK were still very active in the Old South, but I am not up to speed on that area much as I was not there and the KKK was not very active in my home. but i hear they did some very atrocious things to many minority folks.....
October 14, 200322 yr Das, are you sure you never dressed like a ghost and somehow ended up at a large bonfire?
October 14, 200322 yr positive. especially when you consider I enjoy the company of people of various color.
October 14, 200322 yr oh please now... i should not be considered in the same light as dr. king. he was forced to endure many various hardships that I never had to. I just have always enjoyed being around non-white people, perhaps its some of the Germanic blood in me.
October 14, 200322 yr Germanic Texans have always been open and willing to associate and be friendly with those people. Of course that made us not as 'pure' in our whiteness but who cares.
October 14, 200322 yr im gonna dress up as Das for halloween, all i need is a staff a shotgun and my trusty rope... How Bout Them Cowboys!?!?!
October 14, 200322 yr cowboys are up 2 in the loss column to everyone else. go ahead dress up as me...i would be flattered.
October 14, 200322 yr Quincy has truly impressed me this season, i have watched every game hes played and he looks like a different QB this year...
October 14, 200322 yr i dressed up as a clown in high school once. And last year I dressed up in a skin-tight batman costume....I got pictures somewhere (will never make it onto the internet though!)....wow, I looked like a dork...but it was funny
October 14, 200322 yr I am going to a party and I am going dressed up as a goth fairy. I can't wait. I love dressing up.
