No, but that second one looks like a plan for when they were going to build a soccer stadium on site in addition to the ballpark. That is no longer happening. That other stadium, I believe, was the OB that was going to be renovated. These are all from the old plan of building the new stadium next to the OB. Don't turn off the lights on a Soccer stadium yet for Miami.

It is too risky of a venture to spend so much on a soccer stadium. Let the team play at FIU's stadium and see if the community will support the team. If they do, then they can look to build a soccer only facility. I do not think tax dollars should be used on a risky venture such as an MLS franchise. If the Marlins don't get a stadium MLS won't either.

What happened to the Fusion? Kaput after 3 years. Maybe less. It won't be any different now than it was then. The owner was not decided and did not wanted to continue. It was not the fans. If the don't get a stadium they will not be here for long. Lets work together to make it happen. #1 choice by MLS soccer is a stadium at the Orange Bowl site FIU is a nice stadium but it is for football and it is dos not have a grass field.

I'll be honest with you... I won't support any MLS crap until the Marlins get their stadium... BOTTOM LINE! I do give you big ups though for supporting something you have a passion for. Marlins fans have been trying to get a baseball only stadium for years now! we cannot have the parking garage at the new stadium without a soccer stadium there too. mls in miami and the marlins futures are interdependent. its both or neither. its in your best interest to support the soccer team. We should work together to make it happen.
