Posted March 18, 200420 yr Penny pitched pretty well for four innings then lost it in the fifth and was pulled. (Fans were stunned when he gave up an easy Marlin run by not sliding into home. Sure that wouldn't happen in Season play, but...) Benitez. One inning. IMO he should be ready in a month or so. Gave up a tremendous blast to Juan Encarnacion. Boxscore will not be kind to Nate Bump but, in fact, he looked very strong. Some of his strikes were totally unhittable! Choi made some nice plays at first and looked decent at the plate. Before Opening Day he will have all the self-confidence he needs. Ryan Christenson. One of the most underestimated players in camp. Towering HR in his only AB and some nice plays in left field, including a perfect throw to the plate (that Treanor dropped when the runner instantly smashed into him.) Dodgertown. Good memories.
