McKeon rips into team

Featured Replies

So what team besides the Twins would trade for Lee? Expos?

no one

thats the problem

DRays, Mets, possibly RedSox,

i know this is out of the question but the Blue Jays would trade us Delgado for DLee in seconds..... talk about a boost!!!

1 problem: below

Carlos Delgado 1B TOR Signed Oct 2000 - 4 years/$68M

2001: $10.0M (+$4.8M signing bonus)

2002: $17.2M

2003: $17.5M

2004: $18.5M

-Includes complete no-trade clause

So basicly ramp:

You're telling us the Marlins are stuck with D.Lee until end of the season and can't get anything in return for him?I hope he can contribute by having some trade value.

yes Toronto would do that in a second....they need to clear payroll

and yes minus...most likely

If Toronto would seriously trade Delgado for Lee straight up, I would do it - but then again, I aint signing the checks. That would get some fans in the seats and give us a huge boost in the power department and get us on track for the playoffs fast. I would pinch of a brick...there's an image for ya :w00t :shifty
