Obviously a big Dolphins fan here! They are definitely goin all the way this year. But as far as head to head...

 

Favre - Best QB ever besides Marino

 

Green - Missed alot of games and still made it all pro, would have had 2000 some odd yards total offense if he wasn't hurt.

 

Driver - Hands like glue. Tons of yards, Tons of TD's.

 

Franks- This is almost a Toss Up for me, but Bubba is good for 50 catches, 10 TD's and 500 yds year in and year out.

 

Taylor - Another landslide. "KGB" is a proven performer and would win my favor against most any other DE but Taylor is just too good.

 

Hunt - Way better. Faster. Better Pass Rusher, better Run Stopper and way younger. Not even close.

 

Seau - Again not even close. Seau is so much better then Diggs it isn't close. Just amazing how good he is. At 34 years old or so, he is still one of the top LB's in football.

 

Surtain - I thought about McKenzie for a minute or so. And then realized Surtain has been too 2 Pro Bowls and McKenzie has been a Pro Bowl alternate twice.

 

Sharper - Ramp your an idiot for saying Marion. You obviously didn't see Sharper's performance against us. He ran back a 93 yd. interception for a TD. He also had 6-7 INT's, 3 sacks, 100+ tackles, stats unmatched by any other safety in the NFL. Simply the best in the business.

 

Longwell - Who is dumb enough to ask this question? Longwell is so much better then Mare its not even funny. Longwell is one of the 3 all time most accurate kickers in Football HISTORY. Not even close.

 

Bidwell - Our (Dolphins) punter is worthless. Bidwell is an All-Pro caliber Punter.

 

In the end my final tally has come out....

It seems that just about all of these head to head matchups presented were ones that the Packers could or do have the advantage. What about Zach Thomas, Sam Madison, Jamie Nails, Rob Konrad, Adewale Ogunleye, as well as our depth such as Zgonina and Buckley, former pro Bowlers who probably wont even start for us and three very good safeties in Marion, Knight, and Freeman? If you look at the head-to-head matchups from the top of the team down, I see the Dolphins ahead.

TE-Miami (McMicheal is going to be a superstar)

WR-You can go either way. (Chambers and Thompson > Driver and Ferguson or Walker.)Also Miami depth at WR is better and Dolphins are close to resigning gadsen.

Miami is the most talented team in the NFL and last year they were the most talented team in AFC but injuries destroy the team.

You guys weren't the most talented team in the NFL! And injuries are no excuse! Green Bay had MORE INJURIES THEN ANY OTHER TEAM IN FOOTBALL and STILL HAD THE BEST RECORD IN FOOTBALL!

 

Injuries are no excuse. If you guys were the most talented team in the NFL your backups would have picked up the slack for injuries!

 

When will you Dolphin fans get over it??!! We drafted Buckley 10 years ago! We traded him to you for a 3rd pick in which we got Antonio Freeman for! What idiots you have in the FRONT OFFICE. Buckley is WORTHLESS. He couldn't cover my Grandma!

 

No Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila and Joe Johnson are our starting DEs and are a better tandem then Taylor (though he is the best overall of the DE's) and whoever else is your DE.

 

And well you guys cant say your RBs, TE's, WR's, FB's are better. Your offense SUCKS!

 

QB- Favre --Anyone who says Miami's QBs are better needs to check into a loony bin.

 

RB- Green

 

FB- Who would say Konrad is better then 2 Time all Pro HENDERSON? Henderson is the BEST BLOCKING FULLBACK IN THE LEAGUE BAR NONE! Alstott is the best running FB. But Henderson is the best FB in football! He is the best Blocking and Recieving FB. I think 100 yds rsh. 1 Rsh. TD, 200+ Recieving Yds, and 3 Rec. TDs speak for itself. Not to mention Henderson game Zach Thomas some bruised ribs in November! But Thomas stayed in the game.

 

TE- Franks (way better then McMichael ever will be, Bubba is already a super star and far superior hands then McMichael) Franks' 10 TD's, 50+ catches, 500+ yds, & 2 PRO BOWLS make him better then all 3 of Miamis TE's combined!

 

WR- Not even close GREEN BAY!!! We have an ALL PRO! You dont! Driver, Ferguson, Walker, Bailey, Rubin, and Ford are better then Chambers, Thompson, Gadsden and who ever else.

 

OL- Its unanimous, Green Bay. Tauscher, Clifton, Wahle, Rivera, and Flanagan. There is 1 Pro Bowler (Rivera), 2 Pro Bowl Alternates (Wahle and Flanagan) from this year. Last year Tauscher and Clifton were both All Pro Alternates. Not to mention AN ALL PRO BACKUP! Yes backup! With Backup Center Frank Winters.

 

DT- Miami. Cletidus Hunt is now one of the 10 best DT's in the league. He rushes the passer, and stuffs the run. He is young. Tim Bowens used to be good. But is way to old. Kenny Peterson the rookie from Ohio State looks to be a starter and a Cletidus Hunt type player. Though Miami has added depth and that never hurts .

 

DE- Tie. KGB and Joe Johnson are arguably the best DE tandem in Football. But Taylor is the best DE in football besides Strahan and Rice. KGB is right behind Taylor though. Green Bay has better depth and the monstrous amount of sacks we get each year proves it.

 

LB- Miami no question here.

 

DB- Miami. Green Bay was 2nd in the league in pass defense behind Tampa Bay. Miami was a few slots behind us. Green Bay has actually improved their DBs! Al Harris, McKenzie (2 time All Pro alternate), Sharper (the best Safety in football today), Anderson (young rookie last year, who was all pro alternate). They are one of the 3 best DB squads in Football. Miami has 4 all pros which speaks for itself.

 

Special Teams- We have a better Kicker, Punter, and Long Snapper then you guys. But our Kick/Punt Return squads SUCK. Any KR/PR is better then ours.

 

Coaches- Sherman without batting an eyelash! Wannstedt coahced the lowly Bears for years. Now that he has a talented roster he is a good coach, but the roster makes him better then he is. And also he is way to conservative on offense. Shermans consecutive 12-4 seasons and Division Championship, and never having a losing season speak for themselves.

 

Overall Miami is one of the 3 best teams in the AFC. But Green Bay is still one of the 3 best teams in the NFL.

You say in your first post you intend to have fun debating, yet when we state differeing opinions, you basically call us idiots, what kind of debate is that? Your opinions are so biased in favor of GB that oppsoing points of view and just not even considered. When you say things like "whoever your other DE is" besides Taylor, it shows you dont know much about the Dolphins. That whoever is Ogunleye, who had 9.5 sacks last year. Taylor had 18.5. Your only lineman with more than 6 sacks is KGB.

Vonnie Holliday. And we still had more sacks then you all last year. So what difference does it make?

Well, I dont agree that every facet of your offense is better. I must agree? well, I dont. And yes, you did call me an idiot because I chose Konrad over Henderson. Say what you will about blocking, but thats not all a fullback can do. Oh, and you go on about injuries are not an excuse and then use it as an excuse for Green. If injuries are not an excuse, then Williams is better, he led the NFL in rushing. You say you know basically every facet of our defense is better, yet you rank the DTs of GB ahead and the DEs a tie? Oh, and by the way, Miami had more sacks last year, so your fact is wrong. This is silly, obviously not going to be objective.
