Flying_Mollusk
Whats the general consensus here from the expert locals? Is this thing dead without state money? What hope do we have? Sorry to beat a dead horse. Id just like to know how optimistic some people are.

Shaq-Man
i think the team totally bungled up the operation by not working the legislature for the sales tax rebate. imo, the stadium deal is not happening this year.

CapeFish
The legislature is only $2 million a year and can be had next year. The big problem is the other $55 million. The legislature is possible, King is trying to block it. The Marlins have hired lobbyists and hopefully will introduce something into the State House.
