April 14, 200422 yr Lot of people getting upset with the WWE changing the hometowns of their Canadian faces- lately (starting at WMXX, I believe), WWE has started billing Chris Benoit as from Atlanta, Georgia, and Chris Jericho from Manhasset, New York. They've moved Gail Kim to the fictional land of Korea, and moved La Resistance from France to Quebec. If the WWE truly is doing this to only make their heel wrestlers from Canada, than it's truly stupid. I mean, do they think we're not gonna cheer them just because they're FROM Canada? And all this with Backlash coming up, from Canada. Personally, I think alot of people around the 'net are making too big a deal of this. But lord knows I've been wrong before. Any thoughts?
April 16, 200422 yr Yeah, I got some thoughts... I think it's stupid. Jericho was BORN in New York. WHO CARES!? Only crap like this could keep an internet wrestling writer from sleeping...
