An Observation I Made In The Study Room

Speaking In Another Language Does Not Mean You Are Quiet

Jesus, I have had it with people that feel like they have the right to speak in study rooms and such where you are supposed to shut the hell up. There are two cases, one is far worse than the other...

1. Stupid people who don't speak english REALLY LOUD

2. Some black or white moron who thinks a cell phone conversation has its place in a study room

Pertaining to one: Newsflash moron, if you don't speak english, I still hear you. People do not give a crap what you are saying in chinese when they are trying to study or procrastinate. And no, your "foreign" language does not seep in like background noise, it's talking! Do you think you are better than me because you don't speak english? Then why do you flaunt your magical other language abilities where everyone is supposed to be god damn quiet.

The problem with people not speaking english is that it makes it harder for them to learn english and thus work with others who speak it. Do yourself a favor and speak English as much as possible unless you plan on moving out of America. Not for my sake, I do not know you, but for your own: it will make it easier to learn in class and such where everyone speaks English. I really do not think this is the biggest problem on Earth, it really is nothing more than a suggestion.

Furthermore, the largest problem is the audacity these people have. Nine times out of ten (in a school with almost 98% white people) the moron speaking to someone else very loud is in some other language. It is so incredibly disrespectful it's annoying. They must really think that if I do not understand spanish or chinese, I do not care if they are gossiping about stupid crap in those languages. NOOO I hear you. One, I might not be able to speak spanish, but I understand it in a mediocre fashion. Two, no matter what language you speak, it is STILL annoying and I still hear you.

Two: For some reason I never hear people speaking loud in chinese are spanish on cell phones, that right is exclusively held for the black and white douche bags. How dumb can people be, if you have your volume all the way up, it is like there are two morons in the room speaking to each other and that means EVERYONE HEARS YOUR STUPIDITY. Because you are one person on a cell phone, that does not mean you are some how quiet.

I have had it with people being loud disrespectful pricks. There is no reason I can come up with why I have observed the fact that people not speaking English are the ones that most of the time disturb study areas. Maybe I'm just incredibly unlucky, but I honestly think people are dumb enough to believe that by not understanding them, we are not bothered by their disturbing conversation.

Am I the only one to observe this...ever?
