FishFanPR
He basically says that: Playing in Miami is a dream come true for him, as he never imagined he'd be able to play pro ball in front of the same relatives, friends and colleagues that followed him throughout his high school and college career. He added that he felt very lucky when the Yankees traded him to the Marlins, as his childhood dream had been realized. Also talked about Jack, and about his "in your face" style. Mike said that Jack's style of saying what has to be said helped the players. "Jack saw the talent that the team had, he had faith on us, and even though the pitchers were young, he saw that they had the ability to overcome adversity in tough situations". MIke said Jack deserves everything he won last year, as Jack has been in the sport for several years. Mike also talked about how the losses of Pudge and DLee will be felt, but he says that the Marlins pitchers have enough talent that they can dominate anyday, and that will compensate for the losses of the offseason. He said that if the team's arms stay healthy and consistent, the Marlins will undoubtedly fight for a playoff spot. He also compared the Marlins's staff to the Braves, and said that pitching brings championships.
