Dusty Baker-hypocrite extraordinaire

Featured Replies

Last night, the Dodgers beat the Cubs, 4-0. The highlight of the game was an at-bat by Alex Cora against Matt Clement. Cora fouled off 14 pitches before hitting a two run homer.

Reactions:

Dodgers manager Jim Tracy : "You can't have a better at-bat than that, and to have it end like that, that's phenomenal".

Clement: "He beat me, that's all there is to it. It was a tough at-bat and he won the battle."

Baker: "He kind of spoiled at the end by flipping the bat. He won the battle already, so you don't rub it in. But that's modern stuff, I guess."

hmmmm so Cora does a minor bat flip after a sick ab and Dusty rips him...

yet Slammin Sammy does a hop, skip, and a jump on every homerun yet Dusty loves it

or what about when Barry Bonds did a little 360 or stares at his homeruns for 5 seconds, dont remember Dusty being upset then

You missed the part earlier. He was also upset that Cora actually worked the count. He went on to say if he were managing Cora wouldn't have even been in the game, he would be replaced by a veteran who can manufacture runs.
