Speaking of Uni's, does anyone else remember when the alternates (The black shirts) were called Sunday alternates? Remember when they wore them once a week, not almost every day?

 

Maybe I'm just too much of a traditionalist, but when I see the Fish (or any other squad for that matter) on the road, I want to see them in the traditional greys, not some pajama tops that make them look like VC guerillas. :banghead

Loria makes them wear the white with teal pinstripes at home on Sundays.

personally i like the black alternates. truth be told i love all their uniforms the way they are, colors and everything.

changes like the black and orange would have to grow on me, but the uni's are fine right now. Just use the non-black ones more and we will be fine.

 

Maybe it's to make the team's media presentation be consistent because PPS has orange seats and teal walls and the Marlins will be moving to the area near the Orange Bowl.

 

The media stuff looks nice, but yesterday's Marlins TV Network logo having the orange background looked out of place.

Wow I didnt see the game yesterday but now I'm seeing that orange crap on the Marlins logo. Its looks horrible.

 

Please Samson or whoever is in charge of this crap take it off its looks disgusting.

Looking at the highlights of the game from ESPN, it looked like they decided to put the orange for 2 reasons:

1) The match the promotions theme the Marlins are using.

2) To make it stand out on highlights because the previous logo didn't stand out.

 

It didn't look as bad on ESPN as it did yesterday on CBS where I first saw it replayed.
