Craig
Who in the Marlins Front Office decided that this cast of characters in the bullpen was good enough to win the division? In all the hoopla of re-signing Lowell and Castillo and going after Vlad and trading Lee and the Pudge drama and blah-blah-blah, this team did not address it's bullpen at all. Now I know the bats are a big factor in the team's current struggles, but at the same time this bullpen is mediocre at best, and unless somebody steps up or a trade is made, I can't see this team winning 90+ games with this bullpen. *End rant*. This team, in it's current incarnation (even with Fox healthy) is a .500 ballclub. :plain We need 2 bullpen arms and a bat, end of story. Our record right now is a mirage caused by that hot streak at the beginning. I hate being negative dood, but at some point I gotta call it like I see it. This team has a 90 win rotation, an 80 win lineup, and a 70 win bullpen in the opinion of yours truly. What that means in the long run, I don't know, but the fish need one more bat and at minimum a couple arms to shoot life into that bullpen. This team as is isn't bad, but I am beginning to doubt if they can make the playoffs without the FO's help.
