Normally I hate "fantasy trades," but...

I was talking with Matt (FishFanInPA) as we usually do about how much the team sucks lately. And I said that I missed Chuck Smith.

And I really do.

The man's collecting dust in the Braves minor leagues. I'm not sure what his minor league stats have been (can someone check em out, maybe on Baseball Cube?) but he was pretty good for us. I wouldn't mind having him back.

chuck after his arm surgery has not done much it seems.

he has a 4.34 era and no record in 18 2/3 innings.

its unfortuante that he suffered that arm injury.....he could probably be a reclaimation project on some poor team's rotation....but i really dont see us going after a mid 30s career minor leaguers save for a couple of seasons.

i like chuck though and have always wished him the best and still do. if we could get him for cheap....sure....else no.

I was thinking about him the other day. I kinda miss that guy.

Not bad. I know, given, he's 34. How old is Oliver? He isn't a career minor leaguer but his career era is like 112.45.
