Well, Brown made it to June...

I don't know whether to cheer because the Yankees lost and arm or feel bad for our old hero

Hopefully it is not too bad, he missed some time last year and finished strong...this might hurt boston more than it helps, especially because it gives the yankees an excuse to go get Garcia.

The Yanks will get Garcia or Ben Sheets more than likely. This could end up helping them, because Brown should still be able to come back strong.

Sheets isn't moving from Milwaukee

Sheets isn't moving from Milwaukee Is that the latest update? I haven't really been paying attention to the Sheets thing, I just know the Yanks were talking about him in the early season.

The Brewers are playing very good baseball and has the lowest (or one of the lowest) payroll. No need to do a salary dump on Sheets

Manny yes. Thats one.

Johnny Damon was signed semi-cheap.

And dont make it sound like Ortiz was some blockbuster pick up, we signed him for a year for 1 million.

Everyone gave up on Bill Mueller.

Millar was an under the gun acquisition.

Pokey Reese is low key.

No one wanted Bellhorn.

We are not even close to the Yankees level.....

You're closer to the Yankees than you are to the rest of the majors.

Word.

most definitely

which sums up why I said that the difference between you and me is that I KNOW my team is gluttonous and I hate it for it. However, being a fan means I stick with the yankess through thick, thin, and gluttony.

Lowe pitched 53 innings with the mariners, I expect an apology for your condescending tone for no reason.

Pedro, Schilling, Foulke, may I go on?

Johnny Damon was signed semi-cheap.

8 million a year is cheap???

I wanted bill mueller for the yanks to back up for Ventura last year, millar has always been a pretty good hitter, Reese is just a good defensive second base, and bellhorn...well, you got lucky.

Nonetheless, the red sox are still gluttonous...they are no small market team. I'm not crying for the mets.

Your payroll is 130 million, stop b***hing.

Furthermore, Damon is a name brad, he did hit .300 with the royals.
