The A-Rod Quarter

Featured Replies

I was sitting there in front of my television set watching blubbering commercials after another until I hear the word "Yankees" which draws my attention to the everglowing TV. It was a commercial selling a quarter made by the National Collectors Mint in association with US Mint (Looks like Steinbrenner has been using some connections). The quarter showed the pompous (and blubbering) face of star shortstop of the New York Yankees Alex Rodriguez.

Is it really worth it to mint a quarter for A-Rod? Aren't there many other (non-steroid consuming) players that deserve it more? I don't know but for me it's just another reason to puke at the Yankees and their ways.

Thank you, My Two Cents. (No Pun Intended)
